Monkey and laces

Artemy Lebedev, famous not only for their blog in LJ, but his design studio,  in his blog, cursed laces and shoes with laces.

And I probably agree with him. Although in my youth were still laces be goog. And now .. Buy shoes in a store, a week has passed, and the laces are already broken. And make them basically like moving from a well of material. While slide so well that tie them tightly, and just sitting to watch as they and untied. And as it is by walking - and mothers horror as it all you want.

Though certainly buy this now shoelaces to replace the normal ones. It's quite another matter - tied properly and you go all day without worries.

But anyway, I'd like something more comfortable, modern, comfortable and of course reliable. But what a good replacement probably has unfortunately not.
